Outlook Searching Issue

If you use Outlook and it has started having issues searching, this could be caused by many reasons, one of them is from the Outlook folder becoming large. The following instructions have helped some of our customers and we are hoping this might help your issue as well.

1. Delete any items you no longer want
2. Right click on “Deleted Items” and click “Empty Folder”
   1. This will remove the items from your deleted items folder
3. Click “File”
4. Click “Account Settings”
5. Click “Account Settings”
6. Click “Advanced”
7. Click “Outlook Data File Settings”
8. Click “Compact Now”
   1. This will permanently delete your deleted emails.
